Cal State East Bay University Engagement Session

Misty and Chris wanted to go to Cal State Eastbay to do their session because her and Chris met there and spent a lot of time on campus. Chris even proposed to her at the campus so we went to some of their favorite spots and some new favorite spots and did the shoot.

I love photographing candid portraits. I got to do just that at Prince of Peace Preschool. Captured all the children doing what they do. Above is a highlight of some of the images I captured.

Crowne Plaza Hotel Concord March 14th Wedding

This was a fun wedding and the hotel was really nice. The bride and groom were a lot of fun to photograph. They decided to do the staged first look session which was an amazing moment to be a part of. Here are a few images from the day. If you are on facebook there is lot more images from the day in the gallery.

There were lots of kids running around at this wedding so I asked them to get together and spin around the bride and groom.

This was right after they just got done with the first time seeing each other. The bride had tears that the groom was wiping away.

The moment before the see each other and as they see each other for the 1st time.

As the bride was getting her formal portrait, from the sidelines I grabbed this image as she looked at her daughter.

Groom getting ready. I though the mirror would add a little dimension to the image.

Whenever I can I just love shooting with natural light.

Outdoor Children Portraits- Newark, Fremont, Bay Area Kids Photographer

Serena got a take 2 at her session yesterday. Serena was a lot more willing to part with her favorite jacket this time and gave us a great session with lots of variety.

Simple Chair Portrait with a grass background I concentrated on getting lots of different expressions and we did get a lot of them. From funny to cute. This is just one I decided to share.

I chased her around the playground for a while. I must say I did get my exercise for the day but I got some shots of her just playing and I love those type of shots.

Couple of different tutu shots. The pink tutu is one of my props and the black tutu is one that mom brought in.

Same locations just two different angels. Brick wall portraits are fun. I especially liked this brick wall because some of the bricks have a color tone to them. I though that was cool looking.

Outdoor Children Portraits- Newark, Fremont, Bay Area Children Photographer

These are the portraits of the little boy that won the contest last week. You guys voted to see more portraits of him so here are some of my favorites from the session. He was so fun to work with. He gave me lots of different expressions and he was super cute.

He just made this face after taking a bite of his favorite apple snack.

Reaching for the leaf and mom throwing leafs at him.

Mom giving the boy high five.

Playing with dads guitar. Mom wanted some guitar portraits so we did lots of different angels.

This was his favorite place to play in the grass until we had a small accident and he ended up scratching his cute face.

As mom was changing his shirt I took this shot of him looking at me.
