Where has Sylvia been? Well most of the week this week I have been at a seminar learning new lighting techniques. Here are a few images of me just playing around with in camera settings the task was not to use any Photoshop.

Fun Portraits

I just love photographing kids. Here are a few of my favorites from todays session. We did some sibling portraits and then some images of the girls in their dancing attire. They were so cute dancing and showing me the dance they do :-)

Tanisha's Maternity Portraits

Tanisha my sister in law is due in 3 days. I cant wait to me the new baby girl. This is her 4th baby and finally they got the girl they have been wanting. Here are a couple of portraits from our short session today.

4 Month Baby Portraits

Today we did some indoor baby portraits. Mom and dad are 49ers fans so we dressed up the baby in some cute 49ers outfit and some other cute outfits too. This baby is dressed so stylish. Here are some portraits from the session.

Belly Casting part 2

We did another session with belly casting today and we tried a new prop as well. Check out some images from todays session. Now even though it appears that baby is all alone actually mom was holding or supporting the baby on all portraits below for safety. This is magic of post editing that makes it look like baby is on its own. Baby is now 3.5 weeks old.

Maternity Portraits 9 months

Gladys came in yesterday for her maternity portraits she is due any day now. She thinks in the next 2 weeks for sure. They are expecting a baby girl. Congratulations to you :-) Here are a few portraits from the session.

Maternity Belly Casting Portraits

About couple months ago Leontine came in with her big belly and we did belly casting together of her belly. This is Leontine's baby #4 and they are thinking this might be the last one :-) Today she came in the baby is now 3.5 weeks old and we finally got a chance to do some portraits with the baby and the belly molding. Sisters Portraits

Congratulations Jennylea and Andrew

This past Saturday Jennylea and Andrew got married over at the St. Barnabas Catholic Church over in Alameda. The reception was at the Peony Restaurant in downtown Oakland. We had a beautiful day full of sun. We took our formal portraits at the Washington Park over in Alameda and we even got to go on the beach for a few minutes. Mission San Jose Communion Portraits

We took some time today and went to the Mission of San Jose. We did some communion portraits of this cute girl.

Wild Birds

We have a wild bird that set a nest in our gazebo and looks like the babies just hatched :-)

1 year Old Cake Portraits

Christine has been coming in with her daughter Sienna since she was a baby. Sienna is now 3 years old. When her sister was born mom brought her sister in as well to take her portraits as she was growing up. Now the baby is 1 year old. I decided that it might be cool to compare the 2 sisters 1 year portraits. Mom brought in same dress that Sienna had on for her sisters 1 year portraits. Take a look how amazingly similar these girls are at age 1.

Top set is Sienna at 1 year and the bottom set is her sister now 1 year old.

Takei Family Portraits

Suzette came in to my studio this weekend and we did a special session for her where all we did is captured as many expressions as we could of her kids. She has 4 beautiful children. I had so much fun capturing their expressions and we are going to be making a huge collage with lots of different expressions. Meanwhile we are working on selecting images here is a little sneak peak to a small collage of the Takei family little crew.
